Stefan Çapaliku was born in 1965 in Shkodra, Albania. He studied Albanian language and literature at the University of Tirana from 1984 to 1988 and did a doctorate in Albanian literature from 1990 to 1995. He teaches at the Academy of Art in Tirana, faculty of drama. An accomplished poet and playwright, Çapaliku work has been translated into Polish, French, and English. He was recommended for an apexart reisdency by Adrian Paci, visual artist, Albania/Italy. Luiza Margan and Miha Presker's collaborative works include installations, photography and drawing.in their installations they explore the structure of images and their transformation through light interventions, often using layers of drawings and an overhead projector as a basis. Those installations explore relations of objects and projections in space. Margan and Presker are Young Visual Artists Awards (a project of the Foundation for Civil Society) receipients, currently in residence at ISCP. |
