Born in Istanbul in 1977 Emre Hüner is an artist producing drawing, video, and spatial works following different techniques. He now lives and works in Istanbul after being in Milan for eight years. Central to his oeuvre are technological industrial progressions and the concept of society at risk in this respect. In 2008 he participated in two special projects: The Marmara Pera Screen in Istanbul where he realized Total Realm (2008), a public video; and the Bidoun Project, Creek Art Fair, Dubai with Panoptikon (2005).. Hüner participated in The Generetional: Younger then Jesus, New Museum, New York (2009), Manifesta 7 – The Rest of Now, South Tyrol Italy (2008), the 10th International Istanbul Biennial, Istanbul (2007), and Fairytale, TICA, Tiran (2007). He published the artist book Bent 003 (2007), and participated in the exhibitions Video Invitational #2 (2006) Via Farini, Milano, and Con Altri Occhi (2006) at the Palazzo della Ragione, Milano.
