Anna Gritz is the Programs Director at apexart. She came to apexart from Germany via San Francisco. She holds an MA in History of Art from the University of Cologne, Germany, and a MA in Curatorial Practice from the California College if the Arts in San Francisco. Next to her work at apexart she works as an independent curator and writer. Her curatorial projects have included solo and group shows, publications, commissions, and screenings in the US and abroad. Currently she is working on an exhibition based on her thesis titled: I prefer not to, Gestures of Refusal and Disobedience.
