  residency program
Eight individuals per season who have not spent time in NYC are invited by apexart for a one month period of intellectual exchange. Participants are over 30 and selected by invited individuals of note within their own countries.

  publications
A growing library of books considering issues in the arts. apexart has recently published Playing by the Rules: Alternative Thinking/Alternative Spaces, (2010) Cautionary Tales: Critical Curating (2007) and On Cultural Influence: Collected Papers from apexart International Conferences 1999-2006 (2006).   almost famous reading series
A reading series devoted to giving authors at all stages of their careers an opportunity to read recent work. With events every few months, the Almost Famous Reading Series is a chance to hear from creative minds in the writing community.

  conferences
"Think-tank" model conferences addressing cultural hegemony are held approximately every two years in various cities around the world with participants from 15 countries at each conference. Prior conferences have been held in Poland, Brazil and Hawaii. On Cultural Influence, with 30 essays from these conferences, was published in 2006.
