Fencing in Democracy assembles work by artists, activists, architects, and anthropologists who have created alternative designs for the US-Mexico border wall, opposed its construction, and/or portrayed its impacts and on border life and culture.
|June 4 - Panel Discussion
Saturday, June 4: 2 pm
The curators and curatorial assistants of The Border Studies Archive at the University of Texas will discuss various issues covered by the archive's collections. In conjunction with current exhibition Fencing in Democracy.
|Double Take Readings
Double Take is a unique reading series that asks authors to trade takes on shared experiences. Each edition features three pairs of emerging and established writers in a Rashomon-style presentation proving how very differently two people can view the same event.
