Natasa Petresin was born in 1976 in Ljubljana, Slovenia and holds degrees in Comparative Literature and History of Art from the University of Ljubljana, Slovenia. She attended both the World of Art: Training Programme for Curators of Contemporary Art, SCCA-Ljubljana, Slovenia (1998) and the Curatorial Training Programme at Stichting De Appel, Amsterdam (2002). She has worked with the experimental and activist arts group Zavod Projekt Atol since 2001, and since 2002 been a key individual in the curating, funding and management of the sound art series Re-lax - both in Ljubljana. Petresin also founded the music label and music publishing series rx:tx.

Natasa is with apexart as an ArtsLink fellow. Ms. Petresin was recommended by René Block, Director, Museum Fridericianum, Kassel, Germany.
