Kerri Schlottman is Director of Operations at apexart. She holds a MA in English, concentrated in visual culture and performance art from Wayne State University in Detroit, and a double BA in English and Art History. Prior to joining apexart, Kerri held positions as the Development Director at the Detroit Artists Market, the oldest non-profit contemporary art gallery in the Midwest, and as Development Manager at the Rubin Museum of Art in New York. She also provided consulting services to 555 gallery, Detroit by Design, and Contemporary Art Institute of Detroit. She has extensive experience consulting non-profit art organizations in development and overall organization. She is also a creative writer and has published several short stories and engaged in many creative performance pieces.
