JUN 14 public program: Response: incomplete world New York video artist Shelly Silver organizes a day of activity around issues of individual and collective responsibility, which includes a preview of her soon to be finished film incomplete world.  
JUN 12 public program: Abecedarium for Our Times Radhika Subramaniam launches an Abecedarium for Our Times - a chapbook for re-visioning our words and our world with contributions from 26 writers and artists.  
JUN 11 public program: Supermasochist Sheree Rose, companion and dominatrix of Bob Flanagan shows unseen segments of and talks about Sick: The Life & Death of Bob Flanagan, Supermasochist. Preceded by daytime film screenings. DOWNLOAD audio file of Sheree Rose in conversation (1 hour 26 min, 39Mbs)
JUN 7 public program: Love Thy Neighbor Berlin-based artist Daniel Seiple curates Love Thy Neighbor, including works by Peter Fend, Robert Longo, Michael Smith, and Lester Miller.  
JUN 6 public program: Jocasta preview Vicky Shick curates excerpts projected on the walls from Elise Kermani's film, Jocasta, along with objects in the gallery space by Barbara Kilpatrick.  
JUN 4 resident performance: Azeb Worku Sibane The Devil's Scarf and The Lion's Whiskers. Traditional Ethiopian Fairy Tales. apexart’s current international resident Azeb Worku Sibane, Addis Ababa, engages the audience in stories originating from her native Ethiopia.  
MAY 26 exhibition opening: ABACA ABACA (Arts Benefits All Coalition Alternative) high school students

APR 30 film screening: The Devil and Daniel Johnston Delve into the artistic genius and manic depression of singer/songwriter/artist Daniel Johnston to learn about madness, creativity and love. Current footage, vintage performances, home movies and interviews with friends and families draw an intimate portrait of one of the founders of Indie music. Directed by Jeff Feuerzeig.  
FEB 29 exhibition talk: Boris Groys Please join apexart and Boris Groys in a public discussion of the current exhibition, Thinking in Loop: Three videos on iconoclasm, ritual and immortality. Groys will describe the inception and method behind his video collages, followed by questions from apexart Executive Director Steven Rand and the audience.

Out of the Studio: Writing and Drawing in Three Dimensions
Join apexart and ISCP in a conversation between current apexart resident Stefan Çapaliku (Albania) and ISCP residents Miha Presker and Luiza Margan (Slovenia), who are working in the literary and visual arts, respectively. In spite of their relative geographic proximity, the artists and writer have noted the vast cultural differences between Albania and Slovenia and they will take this rare opportunity to speak about bringing their artistic media into new realms.  
JAN 9 exhibition opening: The (Self)Promotion Show apexart held an open call, requesting submissions of a 30-second TV commercial about us from individuals and collaborative groups. In addition to being on view as part of the living-room-style installation, the commercials are available for viewing on our website, where viewers voted for their favorite commerical which aired on TV.
