Casey Smith is an educator, scholar, and poet living and working in Wilmington, Delaware, who currently chairs the liberal arts department at the Delaware College of Art and Design. His primary field of research is late 19th century biblio-culture. His poetry and other work has been published and exhibited in various journals, broadsides, and artists' catalogues. He is the author of the book-length conceptual poem Opulent Stone Moccasins, published online by Ubu Editions in 2010 and a suite of satirical underground videos, The Truth of Poetry. In addition to his writing and teaching, he occasionally curates exhibitions and reading series in Washington DC and Wilmington.
