Justine el-Khazen is a poet whose work is informed by her belief in the power of lyric poetry to enrich political awareness. She teaches at Parsons School of Design and is a graduate of the Masters in Creative Writing program at UC Davis. Justine was a 2014 Emerging Poets Fellow at Poets House. Her work has appeared in Matter, Beloit Poetry Journal, and The Rattling Wall among others.
