Mimi Lipson is a writer of fiction and nonfiction. Her first story collection, The Cloud of Unknowing, came out in 2014 from Yeti. She makes unusual stained glass, and her most illustrious achievement, from her former life as a linguist, is a National Science Foundation Fellowship for Graduate Studies.
