Nathalie Zonnenberg

  Nathalie Zonnenberg is an independent curator from the Netherlands, currently based in Berlin, working on a research project with a grant from the Fonds BKVB. She holds an MA in Art History from de Vrije Universiteit, Amsterdam. From 1999-2002 she was Assistant Curator at the Witte de With, Center for Contemporary Art, Rotterdam, and prior to that she held positions at W139 Art Foundation and the Stedelijk Museum in Amsterdam. During the summer of 2004 she curated the group exhibition LAB with works by Gruppo A12, Lara Almarcegui, Heman Chong, Minerva Cuevas, Manfred Pernice, Tino Sehgal, Simon Starling and Nasrin Tabatabai & Babak Afrassiabi in the sculpture garden of the Kröller-Müller Museum in Otterlo. She has lectured widely on contemporary art and has contributed texts to various exhibition catalogues and art publications, including Metropolis M, Museumtijdschrift, Stedelijk Museum Bulletin and several editions of the World Wide Video Festival in Amsterdam.

Nathalie Zonnenberg was recommended to apexart's Fellowship Program by Bartomeu Marí, Chief Curator, MACBA, Barcelona, Spain.
