NYC Open Call 2022-23 Proposal Ranking
The five highest ranking proposals were submitted by: Eimi Tagore-Erwin (KANTEN 観展: The Limits of History), Clark Stoeckley (Kafala: Slavery in the Arabian Peninsula), Marie Meyerding (Defiant Visions), Corina Apostol, Tashima Thomas (Flora Fantastic: Eco-Critical Contemporary Botanical Art), and Julia Hartmann ("My Pen Won’t Break, But Borders Will"). The NYC Open Call accepts ideas for group exhibitions to be presented at apexart, 291 Church Street, in New York City. The organizers of the five highest-ranked proposals will receive curatorial honorariums, funding for their exhibitions, and funding for exhibition-related public programming.
