Kostas Roussakis was born in 1971 in Athens, where he lives and works. He studied sculpture at the Athens School of Fine Arts under Professor George Lappas. His work, typically large-scale sculptural constructs, seeks to be ephemeral monuments to the human condition. Concurrently, since 1996, he has been working as a sculptor for the Greek National Opera.
